FATKAT TAKES OVER THE GAME SUMMIT
Fatkat is starting to step into the interactive region of entertainment. Baby steps really, but still we're starting to get our feet wet in the R&D aspect.
To help with our initiative into this new realm, Fatkat sent our very own in house gamer/Animation Director John Roth to sunny Vancouver to check out the 2007 Vancouver Game Summit.
Jerome Kashetsky (on the left) pictured here with the lovley Janet Jackson invited us out this year. He was so excited that Fatkat was thinking about getting into gaming that he helped pay our way! (well, not really, he gave Jon some gum)
Jon schmoozed with gaming executives, slid in with government folks, talked to students about Fatkat and even caught a cold while he was there (thanks for bringing that back Jon)
All in all it was a good trip and Jon brought back alot of information on getting into the gaming side of things for Fatkat. Atta boy Jon, makin' us proud yo!
Gene.

Ya I went to the Games Summit and thought it was totally interesting.
It was cool to see the multitude of major Vancouver games companies all hanging out in one place.
Didn't meet Jon however but maybe next year. I get the feeling this event is going to get much bigger!
