NEW TRANSFORMERS CARTOON
At first glance I thought that the executives of Loonatics must of gotten their hands on the Transformers IP. But then I looked at it again, it's not bad at all, I hear people complaining, but it's pretty modern looking at least and good art.
Andy Coyle, a Fatkat Director says it best:
Be wary of complaining when you see things like this. I agree, it’s not quite transformers, but these are awesome drawings and cool designs… does anybody remember what happened to the “loonatics”?
Yes, it was a horrible idea, but at least the original version had a modicum of coolness woven into the art. Then after angry nerds cried and screamed bloody murder they changed it into one of the worst things I’ve ever seen. Don’t make them do that to transformers too.

I got to see the pilot a few weeks ago, and believe me...it's going to be amazing!! Best thing since the original cartoon.
The nerds can natter on as much as they want, but once they watch it...all their criticisms are going disappear.
Quiz Jon about. I gave him the backstory on the show.
i'm just glad its not 3d
Ok, while i agree with Coyle on the strange designs, i have a little info to imparted on this one. Steve knows the guy who did the designs for this one, its the same guy who did the designs for teen tightens. He got to sit down and get a sneak peak at the cartoon, and while it deviates from the original cartoon, it heavily follows the movie plot line. oh ya and the deciptacons are huge, the size of sky scrapers, and the autobots are a little bigger than humans, so thats gonna be fun to see animated, plus he said the animation was killer, so im excited.
Yes, it's just different. And we all know hitler was a bad man.... you know... hitler... he didn't like things that were differ-... ah nevermind...
~Milky.
cool! Im SOOOO glad its not CG, or anime. (nice blog revamp too.)
Actually it doesn't follow the movie's plotline, Jon ;)
The autobots are worker robots that help the humans in the city. Kind of like civil servants that do maintenance and construction.Thats why they're small and have those emergency lights.
The deceptions are military robots that storm the city for energon, technology, etc. Like Jon said, they're huge compared to the autobots, and their designs are much more aggressive and angular.
Horray for geek talk.....and that bad Hitler guy.
So is there a genuine purpose to their ability to transform into vehicles and blend in to human society then? And is Jazz going to be in it, because he was my favourite.
i'd give my left ball to work on any transformers show!
lame or otherwise!!
