Looks great, very dynamic. My favorite one is the second one but the third one is a very strong contender.
In the third one you've got something very interesting going on with the value contrast between the grays in the foreground and the black backgrounds. I just love how it pops out.
In the first sample the Fatkat logo takes too much attention and leaves the lightly colored background almost unnoticed. Plus, in contrast with the light background the dark gray of the logo doesn't do anything for the contrast and it would probably look better fully black.
The second one is my favorite because not only is there a nice contrast with the value and the color saturation, but the overall piece looks harmonious.
Maybe it's just my impression, but I like how this logo could represent Fatkat as a dynamic and creative group of people (like the ink splatters in the back) who get organized and produce something professional (like the cleaner logo in the front).
Two questions: 1. How did you do the ink splatters? 2. What does the dragon represent?
Hey thanks for the comments!
I was just messing around really, these elements sans the logo I bought from Arsenal and their library of vector art. Cool stuff.
The lion represents New Brunswick, where our studio is located.
I'm not sure which one I like best, I don't think I've made that one yet. They all look too flat for me, I wanna get some 3D in there somewhere. But for a t-shirt. I think the third one would be best.
I'm down for a shirt of the second one!
