It's from the same crew that worked on Billy and Mandy. Carl worked as a board artist on Spongebob before switching onto Billy and Mandy. That's why Chowder kind of has the same vibe.
I think it's going to be one of the coolest new shows coming out of CN in a long time. The pilot is really fresh, funny and strange...in a good way. Kids are gonna love it because it's got a really fun anything goes unpredictability factor.
If you like the style, Geneo, you should look up these guys...Jolly Roger Bradfield,Paul Coker Jr,and Sergio Aragones. Definitely right up your alley.
They had a small video of actual animation from this show somewhere on the Cartoon Network website.
I drooled slightly. Its so.....cute! And colorful! And silly!
I cant wait to see it premiere.

Jolly Roger kicks ass. I picked up a bunch of his books last year on ebay. Check out"Giants come in different sizes", Gene. You'll love it.
Paul Coker Jr. is a Mad magazine guy. He did the designs for all the Rankin and Bass puppets too.
